Evogen, the company that brought us Carnigen, IsoJect, and EVP is now getting recognized in various review aggregate websites and supplement forums for bringing a premium BCAA supplement called Evogen CELL K.E.M. Evogen has hit the right note with its other supplements, with the median rating of their supplements at 8 out of 10, there’s no denying that Evogen is known as a company for coming up with the right formulas.

Evogen CELL K.E.M, or Cellular Kinetic Expansion Matrix is primarily BCAAs with a mix of vitamins and minerals to bring users a complete blend of nutrients which users need to build muscle and prevent muscle loss while under the cutting phase of workouts. In this review, we’ll take a closer look at Evogen CELL K.E.M to see if it has the complete formula to take on the top BCAA supplements in the market.

What you need to know

Evogen CELL K.E.M is not 100% pure BCAA. The other ingredients mixed with BCAAs are vitamins which could be sourced from multivitamins, and even your diet. Vitamins such as Vitamin C, Niacin, and  B6 could be easily sourced from food and multivitamins, while other minerals such as Calcium and Phosphorus have little-to-no significance in the formula.

Who uses Evogen CELL K.E.M?

BCAA-based bodybuilding supplements are popular among athletes and bodybuilders that are currently going through the cutting phase. BCAAs are important to reduce the risk of muscle breakdown due to high-intensity training, which is a critical component in cardio workouts.

Effectiveness

Evogen may not be as popular as brands like MusclePharm and MuscleTech, but they clearly know what they are doing with their supplements. However, with BCAAs, it’s best to keep it simple. BCAAs are great on its own, and adding a few extra ingredients to the formula would likely not affect the effectiveness of BCAAs itself. With our experience with BCAAs, it’s best to have it paired with nitric oxide boosters such as Nitrogenix 365 to reduce the risk of muscle breakdown. Evogen CELL K.E.M has Arginine AKG and Citrulline mixed with the formula, but without the exact amount, it would be difficult to say if it’s enough to be relevant in the formula.

Don’t get us wrong – Evogen CELL K.E.M is still an effective product. We particularly like the addition of Glutamine and Creatine. These ingredients are particularly important to reduce muscle breakdown while making it possible to perform at a high level. The combination of ingredients make sense, but one cannot help but think if using a supplement stack would yield better results than having it all in one formula.

Key ingredients:

  • BCAA 4:1:1
  • Arginine AKG
  • Citrulline Malate
  • Creatine
  • Glutamine

Verdict

Evogen CELL K.E.M is a good product if you’re looking for a supplement that has everything in it. You’ll probably save a few bucks by keeping it all in one product. However, if you’re looking to take your workouts to the next level, stacking supplements is still the best way to go.
