Remember WWF’s heyday back in the 90s? One of the headliners that made that possible was Lex Luger. Lex Luger was arguably one of the best wrestlers in the 90s. His role as an antagonist, and later on as a protagonist made him one of the fan favorites as well. One of the most memorable moments in Lex Luger’s sports entertainment career was when he body slammed Yokozuna, one of the largest athletes in WWF at that time, who weighs at least 450 pounds. Ken Shamrock was a star in the early years of the UFC. After years of MMA fighting, he switched to sports entertainment. In fact, after years in professional wrestling, Ken Shamrock returned to the UFC for a fight with no less than the Huntington Beach bad boy and Light Heavyweight Champion, Tito Ortiz. Bobby Lashley graced WWE with the physique of a Mr. Olympia. He had big, bulging muscles, and his height at 6’3 made him more intimidating. He went on to have a prolific career as a wrestler in WWE, and went on to compete in other independent sports entertainment circuits. In 2008, after years of developing his body for sports entertainment, he decided to turn it up a notch by competing in MMA. To date, he is still actively competing, and he has amassed a record of 12-2 in MMA.
Power and agility – these two attributes are very hard to find in a heavyweight contender, and Brock Lesnar has it all. Brock had a prolific career in WWE, earning multiple heavyweight title reigns, and several story arcs to his name, but Brock Lesnar’s career highlight is undoubtedly his stint with UFC, when he won the heavyweight title. Joe Rogan called Brock Lesnar a “freak of nature” because of his unrivaled speed and power. He stands at 6’3 and weighs at almost 290lbs, arguably one of the most muscle-clad athletes to ever grace sports entertainment.
