Prolatis 2.0 Male Enhancement Pill Review

Tough restrictions on male enhancement supplements challenge manufacturers to invest more in research and development to discover all-natural ingredients and formulas that make their product more effective. Once proven effective, a male enhancement supplement product will sell itself with very minimal marketing involved.  But how good would it do if the formula involves prescription drugs? Would you still consider buying it?

That’s exactly the case with Prolatis. Back in 2010, Prolatis was pulled off the shelves of GNC because of a random testing done by the FDA that found Sildenafil on Prolatis pills. Sildenafil is the active ingredient in Viagra, which is a prescription drug, which can only be distributed with a doctor’s prescription. Prolatis did not declare Sildenafil as an ingredient, which led to various FDA sanctions. Since then, the makers of Prolatis launched Prolatis 2.0 – a new formula that they claim to be all-natural, just like its predecessor.

What you need to know

Supplements are different from drugs in the sense that supplements are supposed to be sourced from all-natural ingredients so it can be considered as food. Drugs, on the other hand, are more regulated, with various drugs needing a doctor’s prescription in order to be dispensed by the pharmacist. Supplement-drug formulas are quite common, but only with unregulated medicine. Some drugs, like Sildenafil, are regulated because of its risks of side effects and potential for abuse which doctors would need to evaluate before prescribing.

Who uses Prolatis 2.0?

Prolatis was a popular male enhancement supplement back then, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Prolatis 2.0 would be supported by the same customers who bought the first product. Prolatis 2.0 is a fast-acting male enhancement supplement that claims to work in as quickly as 30 minutes before sexual intercourse.

Effectiveness

We measured the effectiveness of Prolatis 2.0 based on the following criteria:

  1. Content quality
  2. Content delivery (fast-acting pill)
  3. Pricing

We sent samples of Prolatis 2.0 to the lab for analysis. We learned that Prolatis 2.0’s main ingredient is L-Arginine, a semi-essential amino acid that promotes better blood flow. L-Arginine is typically found in muscle-building supplements and the best male enhancement supplements due to its effectiveness in improving the quality of penile erections.

Prolatis 2.0 combines L-Arginine with ingredients like Epimedium, Maca Root, L-Citrulline and Niacin. Epimedium, also known as Horny Goat Weed, is an effective aphrodisiac with testosterone-boosting qualities. Maca Root is an ancient herbal medicine used as a fertility aid, and used as a hormone-balancing supplement for men. L-Citrulline acts as a precursor to L-Arginine, which then boosts Nitric Oxide levels in our body, resulting in better blood flow. Niacin is the formula’s secondary vasodilator that improves blood flow.

Fast-acting pills usually have a non-active ingredient that assists in improving the absorption of nutrients. However, we didn’t find such ingredients in the formula. All the ingredients – L-Arginine, Epimedium, Maca Root, Niacin, and L-Citrulline, are typical ingredients for male enhancement supplements which are taken daily. Also, the inclusion of L-Citrulline creates a 3-step process of converting L-Citrulline to L-Arginine, and L-Arginine to Nitric Oxide to dilate blood vessels. Overall, the whole process cannot possibly take less than an hour, which makes Prolatis 2.0 ineffective as a fast-acting pill, but it shows promise as a daily supplement.

Prolatis 2.0 is quite affordable, compared to other fast-acting pills which can set you back up to $5 per serving. Prolatis comes in 60-capsule packs for only $30, which means that it would only be about $1 per dose.

Conclusion

I think that it would be fair to give the product another chance at the male enhancement market. While it’s true that adding Sildenafil to their formula was a cheap ploy to make their product effective, I’m sure that the manufacturer has come up with new ways to make the product more effective. Still, the product wouldn’t be as effective as Viagra or Cialis and it can’t pass as a fast-acting supplement, but it has shown great potential as a daily supplement.
